Finalists announced for 2022 Winterset Award

Three finalists have been named for the 2022 BMO Winterset Award.

The annual award celebrates excellence in Newfoundland and Labrador writing. The winner will be announced on March 30.

The finalists are:

• Shelly Kawaja, The Raw Light of Morning (Breakwater Books)
• Lisa Moore, This is How We Love (House of Anansi Press)
• Meghan Greeley, Hunger (Breakwater Books)
