2012 Festival Program
Winterset in Summer is Newfoundland and Labrador's unique literary festival designed to celebrate the writers of our splendid province. Meet new and established authors and hear them talk about their writing with celebrity hosts, including founding host CBC Radio's Michael Enright.
Our 2012 Program is now available for viewing. This year's theme is "Peril at Sea" and commemorates both the centenary of the sinking of the Titanic and the record created in literature, music and drama of the many struggles by Newfoundlanders and Labradorians, repeatedly tragic and heroic, in their dealings with the waters around them.
The Festival is once again partnering with Terra Nova National Park to provide a children's writer at the Park. This year's writer is Maxine Trottier; see the Events tab for details.
