2009 - Kathleen FarthingKathleen J. Farthing was born and raised in Central Newfoundland. The fourth of five children, she graduated from Botwood Collegiate and attended General Studies at Memorial University. Her interest in writing began with poetry and evolved into articles and short spoof pieces. "Murder in the Cove" is her first published novel. Kathleen likes to write an original story that will keep readers entertained and guessing until the end. She now resides in St. John’s and likes to read and do volunteer work in her spare time.
